

I made a turkey today!
Okay. I didn't cook it. I literally made a turkey from yard waste! This is taking advantage of what is around me when I need to take a centerpiece to a friends' for Thanksgiving! Sleeping on how to make the head was the hardest. I couldn't even find any ideas on Pinterest! So, I looked around the studio til I saw the corks and wire. I seem to be on a grove using corks and wire to fulfill all kinds of needs...wineglass holders, and now neck and beak of my turkey! So, here it

What a fun day last Saturday was!! Whew. Had a class in Hypertufa in the morning, then I raced down Babcock to the Restore and started reworking everyone's grandma's secretary. I'm reworking it into a dry bar....Florida style. This is where I left off. The picture below is where I started.
