WEEKLY CLASSES:
NEW Hand-build Clay Class beginning February 7th
TUESDAYS 11am -1pm $200 Six week session.
Learn how to slab roll to form basic shapes for utility designs
and sculpting. Starting with basics, we'll jump to forming shapes
using leaves and cookie cutters, then go to free form shaping,
pinch pots, coil roll pots and sculpting. Glazing vs Acrylic painting.
NEW Acrylic Painting Class
WEDNESDAYS 1:30pm - 3:30pm $50/class
Learn techniques to mix and apply textures and paints. How to
mesh classic artist's paintings or styles into your work. Here's
an example Mike Maestriani's portrait of his sister entwined
with Van Gogh's Starry Night. Awesome result!
MOSAIC FRYPAN FACES
WEDNESDAYS 10am - 1pm January 17th - 31st $125
We're taking old frying pans and reusing to create fun and
outlandish faces from pottery, toys and whatever we have
on hand (which is a LOT). Example go to Pinterest for ideas
under Frypan Mosaic Artwork.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 19th 10am - 1pm
BOTTLE FISH. Wrap wire, beads and bottles to create your own
version of a fish, or bird, or just about any other animal you can
imagine. $60
TUESDAY, JANUARY 23rd 10am -12pm or
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27th 10am-12pm
FUSED GLASS HEART PENDANTS
Bring a small photo to copy to size and adhere to your choice of
clear fused glass hearts for pendant, broach or earrings.
Explore my boxes of broken jewelry to embellish your own creation.
Choose a cord or leather necklace (or bring your own chain). Other
findings will be furnished. $60 for up to 3 pieces/ $75 up to 6 pieces.
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27th 1pm-3pm
HYPERTUFA $50
A lightweight cement based alternative to cement.
Used in gardens, Hypertufa allows you the flexibility
to create sculptural pieces as well as standard planters.
If you've been in Eclectic Finds 321 you've seen my
Hypertufa hands holding my business cards and some
of the masks on the walls. 5 recipes for you to select
from to make 2 pieces to take with you.
INTRO TO WELDING with Mike McCuiston
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd
TWO CLASSES 9am - Noon and 1pm-4pm $90
Register for one of the classes above. You will be given
instruction and have the opportunity to MIG and ARC weld!
This introductory class will give you a taste of what's
possible and to answer your question whether you want
to explore this medium again in our follow-up classes.
Sign up for those classes will be available at end of class.
Please wear closed toed shoes and long sleeves and pants.

MONDAY (Holiday) Feb. 19th 10am - Noon.
LARGE PANEL MOSAIC WORKSHOP $150
You'll have a 11" x 36" framed glass panel to work
your magic on! Art glass, beads, sand, baubles and
whatever else...create your own special mosaic panel!
(Help with drawing a pattern is included.)
ON-GOING ADULT CLASSES:
These classes offer you the opportunity to work alongside
other artists as they work in a variety of materials and
subject matter.
TUESDAYS • WEDNESDAYS • THURSDAYS 10am - 1pm $40per class
Mosaics using artglass, ceramic, buttons, beads, jewelry and rocks/shells.

Papier Mache Learn different techniques and materials for a variety of sculpting masks, 3D sculptures or even embellishments for frames or other artwork.
Collage Learn how to create a successful collage. Many different styles using torn or cut papers from a variety of sources.
From this cool frame piece, you can see the start with mirrored pieces. Right is the finished piece with mirror and DVDs that reflect all kinds of colors. AWESOME and fun.
Book a private party. These girls are the Butterflies, so each created their own version of their butterfly.
Grow Your Vision
Plan a Party for you and your friends, like Lee did with her Prayer Group. They call the group the Butterflies, so they each created their own butterfly with glass, beads, and sand. They had a great time. Inquire for pricing and reservations.
Learn Clay Sculpting or hand-build clay. Please bring your own tools if you have them.
KID'S CLASSES:
$25 per class per child/student
Students will have a single project per class for the younger classes.

Work independently on your own project as Betsy helps you along with whatever project you have in mind.
Learn Mosaics.
Start with a framed piece of art you sort of like and we'll edit the art and make it into a mosaic piece. Preferred surface would be a hard surface, or, you can create over a framed print on the glass, so scout around second hand shops for your find.

Hypertufa
CALL FOR NEXT CLASS DATE, please.
Make a couple of Hypertufa projects for your yard or garden. This cement based work wears like cement, but is a whole lot lighter! Bring a plastic container or form you'd like to make into a planter or yard art, and I'll supply the gloves for making a hand container.
$40 includes all materials. You will need to bring dishwashing gloves, a mask and a form to recreate.
